In July of 1975 Ernie Williams Ltd. acquired the Harley-Davidson Franchise to join its John Deere Lawn mower line and thus started Lawn & Leisure division of Ernie Williams Ltd.

Remodeling of the facility was commonplace, but our first addition to the building happened in 1996 along with a major remodeling.

John Deere Mowers and Harley-Davidson® bikes were sold side by side until June of 2002 when the growth of Harley-Davidson was too much to house both lines in the same facility. Thus the end of Lawn & Leisure, now we are known only as
Ernie's Harley-Davidson

2003 to accommodate the needs of our customers, and commemorate the 100th anniversary the replica of the 1903 building was built, along with needed restrooms.

In 2005 plans were in the works for even more expansion to Ernie's Harley-Davidson to allow us to handle the next several decades!

2007 brings a new chapter to Ernie's Harley Davidson, the addition of a new location located in Okoboji. The Okoboji location has a tentative opening date of Feb 2008.
