Hello potential new Harley buyers. I want to give you a heads up on where you need to purchase your first Harley or next Harley. That is here at Ernie's in Algona. My wife and I just purchased a new Street Glide here yesterday (our 5th Harley we have purchased) and it was by far the best experience we have ever had. The people there are very courteous and professional, and treat you like you are their #1 customer. I plan on being in the Harley world for along time and I can assure you, this dealership just won my wife and I over as their next life long customer. If you truly want to know what it is like to have that Harley experience of buying a new Harley, then I would highly recommend you give these guys a chance. Hi there, I just got back from day one on the new bike. I cannot believe how good the new bike is. It is the smoothest best shifting and easiest riding Harley I have ever ridden. Not as fast as the old one due to all the mods done to it but I bet there is a lot of hidden ponies in this thing. It has a much lighter clutch pull than I expected and the transmission is slick. I would say this thing finally shifts properly with really good positive shifts. It pulls well from 2000 rpm even in 6th gear and makes power from about 2500 rpm.Break in is not to exceed 3000 rpm but that is about 80 mph Whoever came up with this new bike has really done good. What a fun bike. Hope you had a good day.

"well i seen a 2008 harley flht ( fire dept ) bike on the algona website and since my bike was at the shop from a break down i decided i wanted to look at it drove there on sept 2nd to see it and they told me it was in Okoboji location..My girlfriend and i rode our repaired 2004 Honda 1300 to okoboji on sept 5th her birthday (ha ha ) once i seen the bike and test drove it.. She and I agreed we needed it Todd was very helpful at getting everything done to it that we asked to have done .. we bought it that day and also got our wedding rings there .. was an awesome day for us both the staff there was GREAT very friendly and helpful.. we we're in invited to take part of the VIP (Grab the Gem party) where she picked the 1/4ct diamond out for the engagement ring we have now bought from them the rest of our GREAT experiences from them you will just have to ask US when you seen us on our beautiful red fire dept bike...THANK YOU OKOBOJI STAFF !!! "Shopped around for a 2010 Road Glide and ended up driving 5 1/2 hours to Okoboji Harley Davidson. They have a great selection of new/used motorcycles, clothing, and accessories at the right price- Good purchasing incentives and the best service I've found at any motorcycle dealer. If I didn't live so far away, I'd stop in often just to visit. Great experience. "

"I went to a family reunion at Lake Okoboji in June 2008- my boyfriend has a 07 Harley and I bought him a shirt. After returning to Maryland, I regretted not purchasing anything for myself, so I sent an e-mail to see if I could order something via e-mail or phone. I really didn't expect a response because I knew it would be a pain in the ass for whoever decided to help me. Nikki sent me an e-mail immediately and attached multiple views of 4 different womens shirts. I bought two and love them!I get tons of compliments on them. "We have had 5 Harleys; 4 of which have been bought at Ernie's! 2nd one a new dresser in 79; 3rd one a 2 year old FXE in 86; 4th one used dresser in 07; 5th one a used road king in 08! They always remember your name! Are very friendly and helpful! "I just purchased my very first bike ever yesterday at Ernie's. Justin was terrific to work with and made me feel at ease since I am a newby at all this bike "stuff". He went through every thing with me on my bike, things I probably wouldn't have known, or would have failed to ask about. It all went very smoothly. My husband purchased his first bike there last year, and we have been treated like royalty every single time we walk in the door, being called by our first names ever since!
